Manuel De Lira is the founder of De Lira Law, where he provides dedicated representation in immigration and criminal defense. A U.S. Navy veteran, Manuel served six years on active duty as a hospital corpsman, deploying in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). His military service instilled in him discipline, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to serving others—qualities that now define his legal practice.
As the son and grandson of immigrants, Manuel understands firsthand the struggles and sacrifices that come with seeking a better future. His grandfather, a Bracero immigrant who spent over 70 years in the U.S., was his first immigration client—an experience that solidified his passion for immigration law. He is fluent in Spanish and proudly represents clients from all backgrounds, ensuring they have a strong advocate who truly understands their journey.
Raised in Fruitland, Idaho, Manuel is deeply connected to his community and committed to defending the rights of individuals facing immigration challenges or criminal charges. He earned his law degree from the University of Idaho College of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon.
At De Lira Law, Manuel brings the same dedication, strategic mindset, and sense of duty that defined his military career. He knows that every case is more than just a legal battle—it’s about protecting families, securing futures, and ensuring justice. Whether advocating in immigration court or defending clients in criminal proceedings, he stands ready to fight for those who need him most.
